Health experts caught peddling lies about ‘deadly ‘ flu.
A top health expert has been caught out spreading hype about so called deadly ‘Aussie flu’.
Each year there is a bout of influenza that sweeps across the world. Most of the population of the world need not worry, while those who are at greater risk are advised to get their flu jab.
More and more doctors are now advising people to get the flu jab each year, it has been suggested to meet with Big Pharma’s targets for vaccine sales.
Now even the health ‘experts’ have been caught up in the flu frenzy.
The Daily Mail have published an inflammatory ‘news’ story citing Professor Robert Dingwall and Dr. Jonathan Quick who claim that the ‘Aussie flu’ could kill “33 million people in the next 200 days.”
The headline was no doubt created to spread panic and alarm to those who have not yet had their flu jabs. How many people will have rushed to their GP to get the vaccine after reading this scaremongering headline?
The Daily Mail reported:
“His warning comes after Dr Jonathan Quick, Chair of the Global Health Council, warned that a deadly flu mutation could take place any day and prove to be the deadliest pandemic in human history.”
Does Dr Jonathan Quick really believe that the flu is going to kill millions of people or is he being business minded?
Dr. Jonathan Quick is the former president and CEO of MSH, and Chair of the Global Health Council. During his time as CEO of Management Sciences for Health (MSH), a supposedly ‘non-profit’ organisation, he worked with some of the biggest pharmaceutical and vaccine producers in the world.
After stepping down in 2016, Dr. Quick’s new position:
“will focus on MSH’s work in global health security, providing strategic support to the multipartner No More Epidemics campaign, and maximize the impact of MSH’s forthcoming book The End of Epidemics: The Looming Threat to Humanity and How to Stop it. Dr. Quick will remain Chair of the Global Health Council.”
So it does seem that Dr. Quick has not let go of his pharmaceutical ties that easily. Despite heading a campaign called ‘no more epidemics’ he is more than happy to whip up a media storm which will no doubt boost flu vaccine sales for his former colleagues.
Don’t forget that the President and CEO of Dr. Quick’s company worked for 27 for Merck, one of Big Pharma’s biggest players.
